Music genres TytCast supports

TytCast's classifier maps every uploaded master to a canonical 21-genre vocabulary across four families. The genre, alongside detected mood and energy, drives which record labels are matched to your track for submission.

Electronic (10 genres)

World (1 genre family)

Reggae / Dancehall — roots, dub, dancehall, lovers rock

How the classifier works

Every uploaded master is analysed against a deep-learning genre model, with results re-mapped to TytCast's canonical vocabulary so genre tags stay consistent across labels and matching. The classifier returns the top three genres for each track plus a confidence score; if the top score is low we ask the artist to confirm before pitching.
